it is now rice harvesting season.oh, it's also finally becoming autumn in terms of weather! last week was tsukimi (moon viewing) in which people go outside to look at the moon (sending messages of love to your family if you can't be with them) and eat mochi (which represents the roundness and fullness of the moon on that fall evening).
Oh! speaking of mochi-- did you know brown rice mochi exists?! i am v. excited!
